The offshore safety and emergency response training requirements for individuals entering (or reentering) the offshore oil and gas business in a tropical environment are met by the OPITO-approved training program. The T-BOSIET's objectives are to familiarize participants with the particular safety regulations and issues that apply to offshore installations and to provide them with the fundamental emergency response knowledge and abilities necessary for traveling by chopper to and from offshore sites in a tropical setting.

      COURSE DURATION: 2 ½ DAYS

       VALIDITY: 4 YEARS

A valid BOSIET (with CA-EBS), BOSIET, TBOSIET, FOET (with CA-EBS), FOET, or TFOET certificate is required to enroll in the 1-day OPITO-approved Tropical Further Offshore Emergency Training program. A delegate's offshore emergency training is renewed for a further 4 years with the T-FOET certificate.
