First Aid Training
Our First Aid training in Cameroon is delivered by certified and experienced Health Care Professionals with specialized backgrounds in emergency medical services and diving medicine. All instructors actively maintain voluntary roles within local trauma units, ensuring their knowledge remains current and aligned with the latest medical protocols and real-world practices.
The training program is structured into three progressive levels, each tailored to build on the skills and competencies of the previous:
Level I – Basic First Aid
- Duration: 16 hours (2 days)
- Overview: This entry-level course provides fundamental knowledge and skills required to manage common medical emergencies. Topics include CPR, wound care, bleeding control, burns, shock management, and patient assessment. Suitable for individuals with no prior medical training.
Level II – Intermediate First Aid
- Duration: 32 hours (4 days)
- Overview: Designed for individuals seeking more in-depth knowledge, this course covers advanced techniques in patient stabilization, splinting, injury prevention, and medical conditions management. It includes hands-on practice and scenario-based learning to improve response effectiveness in more complex emergencies.
Level III – Advanced First Aid
- Duration: 40 hours (5 days)
- Overview: This intensive training is intended for professionals in high-risk environments. It covers advanced airway management, oxygen therapy, trauma response, spinal immobilization, and coordination with emergency medical services. Participants gain practical experience with equipment and real-time simulations.
Each course emphasizes hands-on learning, real-life scenarios, and up-to-date medical standards to prepare participants for effective response in emergency situations.
